The Congress dinner will be held in the Edwardian Tea Room at the Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery (www.bmag.co.uk). This first opened in 1885 and has 40 galleries housing a collection of international importance in fine art, ceramics, jewelry and industrial history. It is famous for its superb collection of Pre-Raphaelite paintings.
There will be an opportunity to look around the gallery and have a guided tour of the Staffordshire Hoard before dinner. This is the largest collection of Anglo-Saxon gold and silver metalwork ever found anywhere in the world (www.staffordshirehoard.co.uk).
Tickets are £50 per person and must be booked at the time of registration for delegates and accompanying persons.
